Hello and welcome. Thank you for joining us on our adventure around Europe in ‘Jess‘ our motorhome.
We are Del and Hayley Jones and this is our personal travel blog, we have nothing to sell or promote here, this blog is just a diary of our travels that we would like to share with our family and friends. We live on the Isle of Wight in the UK where we used to have a boat, a beautiful sailboat called ‘Stargazer’ who we looked after for 14 years. One day we decided that we would like to see Europe by road so we sold ‘Stargazer’ and bought ‘Jess‘ a 6m motorhome made by Roller Team. She is a T590 circa 2018 and she has everything we need for a comfortable time on the road. Derek or ‘Del’, is a Stage and television lighting designer, Hayley is a freelance television studio engineer.
Hello. My name is Derek Jones or just “Del”. I live on the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom and for over 40 years I have made a good career as a stage and television lighting designer, that was of course until Covid-19 struck. As a once young actor, before I started my lighting career, I have now recently returned to using my voice as a voice artist. My passion is and always will be stage lighting, but now I have another useful and enjoyable string to my bow.
